Right from the start of your membership of the association you will find it is good fun to get involved in our events and you will get to know some good beekeepers in the process. Not only that but for some public events you will get free entrance tickets and the opportunity to look around the shows because you will get free time from our stands

- Help with transport - members and others visiting events
- Help with transporting materials too and from events
- Help with preparing food and drinks
- Help with serving food and drinks
- Help with talking about bees (manning an observation hive)
- Help with children's activities (candle rolling, drawing)
- Help with demonstrating beekeeping (we can show you how)
- Help the committee - if you have particular skills we would like to hear from you
- Host Events - let others see you beekeeping in action
